Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, Hyderabad

Deers at Mahavir Harina Vanasthali National Park, Hyderabad

The Mahavir Harina Vanasthali Park is a national deer park, which provides habitat for hundreds of deers located at Vanasthalipuram, Hyderabad. The park is on the Hyderabad - Vijayawada national highway, hence it is easily approachable for tourists. The park is spread over 3.8 acres and is divided into two parts separated by huge iron fencing. The first part is arranged as a normal park with beautiful lawns and sitting arrangements suitable for relaxation. There are bamboo bushes and some other trees growing over this area, giving a soothing atmosphere in the park. There are many photo spots and a small museum arranged over here to attract tourists. The second part is the main area where the variety of deers are protected and there is only guided safari with separate tickets. Though this is a deer park, a variety of other animals also can be seen here. It is really a nice experience to go for safari trip and to see these animals closely in their habitat itself.
